Welcome to the Alamo Detachment 315 of the Marine Corps League

Whether you are a Marine, FMF Sailor, Corpsman, Chaplin, family member, or supporter, we thank you for coming to our website.

The Alamo Detachment 315 of the Marine Corps League was founded in San Antonio, Texas on October 2, 1964. We maintain a 501c4 non-profit status with the Internal Revenue Service with special tax exemption, and are very proud of the fact that on August 4, 1937, the U.S. Congress Congressionally Chartered the Marine Corps League as a Veteran Service Organization.

Mission Statement

Members of the Marine Corps League join together in camaraderie and fellowship to preserve the traditions and promote the interests of the United States Marine Corps, banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from that service that they may effectively promote the ideals of American freedom and democracy, voluntarily aiding and assisting all Marines, FMF Corpsmen and former Marines and FMF Corpsmen and their widows and orphans; and to perpetuate the history of the United States Marine Corps and by fitting acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.
